Your phone will normally be in 4G LTE until you get a call then it switches to 3G to take/make a call. Try forcing your phone into 3G only in your settings and see if this improves your service. You will find that you will likely get faster data speeds in 3G but can slow down depending on network traffic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Of course &lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/107066"&gt;@Nezgar&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;knows more about this than I do...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I forgot to mention that this usually resolves itself when I move to a different area, without rebooting. It goes back to LTE and everything is normal again. Just to be sure, I have also updated the APN settings mentioned, and it seems the proxy and the MMSC port were incorrect. Not sure if those would have been the issue though, as they have not been touched since I signed up with public mobile and this issue has only been the last week or so.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Lately, a couple places I go regularly have been switching whats displayed there from LTE to 4G, and that's when I notice interruptions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once I move away a bit, it goes back to LTE again and my service begins to work normally. On data, i suppose i can deal with it. But today i was on a call, and it just went dead while still seemingly connected as far as my phone was concerned.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/70693"&gt;@jayfoxx&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;, generally 4G and LTE are used interchangeably.&amp;nbsp; I have not seen a phone display 4G and LTE, just either or.&amp;nbsp; I suggest installing this app to get data on your cellular connection.&amp;nbsp; You will see a lot of geeky stats including the connection band and location of the cell tower.&amp;nbsp; I suspect if you are having slow data issues, it is because the connection is on 3G and the local network is very busy handling phone calls on 3G.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wilysis.cellinfolite&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;gl=US" target="_blank"&gt;https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wilysis.cellinfolite&amp;amp;hl=en&amp;amp;gl=US&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Does your phone give you seperate 4G and LTE choices?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I remember with my old Blackberry that when out of range that it would switch from capitalized H to lower h when it had lost signal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe you have a flaky antenna.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am browsing on Fido community and there was a question about S7 only showing 4G and not LTE ever.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;In the end, the support asks him to reset the network and issue was resolved.&amp;nbsp; Also, another reply ask the OP to make sure the phone is up-to-date.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, it looks like 4G on S7 does not mean LTE.&amp;nbsp; Please try system update as well as Network reset to see if that solves the issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
