Why PM charged me $9.99 for my $8 bill?

I subscribed to PM $15 plan, after all the rebate came to $8 before tax, but why was I charged $9.99 from my credit card? Taxes can't be that much? 5% & 6%?

@danlee What is showing on the transaction history for Automatic top-up? I am pretty sure they are only charging tax on the actual top up portion only.

yes, i know tax is not showing there .. i was just asking how much it shows there.. and telling him only that amount shown there will be charged with tax on the credit card..

I had to check...I didn't know SK was 11%. I was doing the math on the numbers I thought and all I could find for an even dollar was 11%. Looked it up...oh. 🙂

So it's 5, 11, 12, 13, 15 and the odd 14.975.
