So I saw when I ordered the SIM card that it let me pay with PayPal. Can I pay my monthly bill with PayPal aswell ?

No, Paypal cannot be used to pay for your serve from your self serve account. Recharge.com does sell online vouchers and they do accept Paypal, but it will cost slightly more.

You can also use paypal to purchase vouchers from Canadian Cell Supplies. They email you the pm vouchers. You may want to consider their activation offers and keep the sim card you just ordered as a spare.

Some more activation tips:

Adding a credit card for AutoPay will get you $2 savings, even if you proactively use vouchers instead
Don't forget to use a referral code from a friend/family member for $10 credit on activation... we're all users helping users here (just like you) and have referral codes, but helping a friend/family gets them $1/mo too! 🙂
You can always activate with a new/temporary phone number and transfer/port your number later at any time if wanted
