Can I change my phone plan before my old one expires so that I can have better data usage?

You can change your plan immediately but you would lose any unused minutes or texts.

I would encourage you to schedule your Change of plan on your Self Serve account and choose Change on NEXT RENEWAL.

It will renew automatically to the new plan you choose if you have a credit card registered to your account, OR you have enough Available Funds to cover the plan.
