      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can you provide more information ?&amp;nbsp; Did you recently port your phone number ?&amp;nbsp; Are you on a limited plan ?&amp;nbsp; If you are on a limited plan then check your account if no minutes appear then you have run out of minutes and can purchase an add-on for $5 for&amp;nbsp; 500 minutes.&amp;nbsp; Try rebooting your phone and try dialing 1 + area code.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When did you port your phone number ?&amp;nbsp; It can take a few hours.&amp;nbsp; You could put your sim from your previous provider to see if that phone number is still working.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

However, even if number porting has failed or hasn't yet completed, that phone number would still be working at Public Mobile for something such as outgoing phone calls. The Public Mobile service not working at all means that there is something else wrong unrelated to number porting.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/191257"&gt;@RhondaWong&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Has service started for you yet?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If not, try one or more of the below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*turn off your phone, leave off for a minutes, then reboot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*removing your SIM for a few minutes, then reinserting it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;*&lt;STRONG&gt;reset&lt;/STRONG&gt; network settings&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you just ported your phone number from another cell provider it could take a few hours to complete the port. &lt;STRONG&gt;Using the other cell provider's SIM you should be still receiving calls on it, until the port completes.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you ported from a landline it could take up to 7 days to complete.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Make sure you do not cancel your previous provider's services until the port is complete.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Incoming calls are usually the last to port over.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;See helpful info. here: &lt;A href="https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/port-fraud-protection" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/port-fraud-protection&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
