    <description>&lt;P&gt;Try in different phones and you have not have setup your phone properly while switching the sim cards. Worst case would be get another SIM and also worth contacting the MOD to see if there is anything they can do. (Only contact them after you have actually made sure that everything is active).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;so i purchased a sim and a prepaid talktime voucher and activated my sim and then successfuly added talktime and then i inserted the sim to my unlocked device that prior to me owning the device a friend of mine owned this device and his public mobile sim worked so iam thinking i have a bad sim what do i do now since public mobile is so cheap they cant afford a 1800 number with a live agent anys&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;did you just activate the account?&amp;nbsp; It might take 30 mins to an hour for the activation.&amp;nbsp; You might want to keep reboot your phone every 15 mins for an update&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What exact the error you got?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, you tried you SIM on another phone?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

No sim detected?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Does Public Mobile show on your phone's screen?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Did you get the welcome email from pm?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rather than a bad sim which is very rare it is more likely your sim card did not provision correctly and/or your account did not set up properly. Contact the moderators by clicking the chat bubble at the bottom right corner of your screen. Type in incomplete activation and human and follow the prompts to submit your ticket.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Wait times are usually 2 to 4 hours up to 48 hours for non urgent issues. This past week or so they have been one hour or less. Keep an eye on your private message box the envelope icon next to your avatar at the top right corner of your screen for a little number to pop up indicating a message from the moderators.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/191110"&gt;@roderickmack&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I doubt it is a bad SIM but you never know so swap the PM SIM into another phone as noted by everyone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it works on other phones then it is your phone is the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;If not, there might be an activation issue so check on your self service account to see if you were charged if it was activated correctly then the porting is in progress.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
