I have a new SIM, activated new service with new phone number, but do not have service.

My phone is an unlocked Google Pixel 4a 5G phone.

(I have tried 5g and 3g preferred network type, but it doesn't make a difference)

When I try making a call, my phone says "mobile network not available".

Apparently in another post, someone said that if

Plans & Add Ons shows a phone number, then there is a backend problem with the number assignment.

How can I get someone from Public Mobile to look into this backend problem?

I assume this is a common problem and easy fix...

Then power on the phone to see if the network is connected. It should show Public Mobile on the top left corner of the phone.

If this fails, click on the SIMon chat button and ask to contact a moderator for help.

BTW, PM doesn’t connect to 5G…only 3G.
