You are under no obligation to use autopay for many its a back up system just in case you forget to pay. Many other members pay with a voucher but have a card on file for the $2 reward. For awhile I had my card that was stolen (and then reported) on three different accounts. My two accounts currently have kelloggs visa gift cards for autopay with expired expiry dates (added before they expired!)

There are no extra charges, overage fees or extra billing at public mobile. Autopay will charge your card once and only once. If there is a glitch or momentary power surge or whatever that can cause a payment system to not complete the transaction then thats it. It will not try again and its up to you to pay your bill. Thats why many prefer to pay a day or two ahead of time and not accidently losing your service due to a raccoon chewing on a electric cable next to a transformer!

Hi @johnmacpei

Public Mobile does not charge service fees.

If a form of payment you're considering charges a service fee, it is the company providing the payment service (or it's agents involved in the payment transaction processes) who are charging the fee.

In fact, Public Mobile REDUCES your amount payable if you register an approved payment method for auto-payment.

You'll save $2 at every 30-day renewal!!!
