US roaming data usage in Canada?

Can US roaming data be used in Canada? I just maxed out my 3 month's data plan and my billing cycle renews in about 2 weeks. Next weekend, I will be going to the states for a few days. If I purchase a 10 day US roaming data add-on, can it be used when in Canada? Or must I purchase a separate add-on for Canada data, and another add-on for US data?
