@BeukGale-40- umm? Well, you need a SIM card to dial out, so that is problem number 1.

Or do you mean you cannot find how to access the SIM card in your device? Look around the edges and you should find a small hole. You will need a pin or a SIM "poker" to open the slot.

Please explain more, as I am just guessing here. 😁

REBOOT your phone to try and fix your cannot dial out issue.

@BeukGale-40- :If you lost SIM card and there no SIM card at all in your phone, you won't be able to use Public Mobile on that phone, until you find your Public Mobile SIM card or but another Public Mobile SIM card and activate the new card before putting it in your phone.

Edit :As @HALIMACS said below, don't activate SIM card just swap it by contact Moderator Team or if self serve updated to let swap SIM card from there.

Check your self-serve to see what your account status is?

Is it possible your recent renewal payment did not apply? Are you on auto-pay or do you manually pay each cycle?

Could you be in a non-service area?

Try:

Reboot phone
Reset Network connections
Toggle airplane mode off/on

Hi @TheGx

Be careful using terminology when advising users to buy another PM SIM card and "activating" the new card. Folks may end up activating a whole new Public Mobile account and end up with 2 separate accounts - which isn't ideal.

One need not activate a new SIM card when replacing a SIM due to losing it or it becoming otherwise unusable. Simply placing a ticket with the Moderators informing them of the new SIM card number to be associated with their existing account will result in the new SIM card being usable. They then simply insert into the already existing device and they're good to go!

@BeukGale-40- : Not a lot to go on. If you're on the $15 plan maybe you've run out of minutes. Or your account didn't renew.

Some phones might have the SIM inside under a back cover under the battery or on an edge. Others will have a "tray" that you need a paper clip to push out like the old manual way of opening a cd tray.

If that's what you're looking for...why? Are you changing phones?

Or you can buy SIM cards in many stores.

It is a problem if you can’t find your SIM and trying to make a call.

It’s like trying to drive somewhere without gas in the car.😜

You will need a new PM SIM or use VoIP through wifi to make calls.
