Also, if it's a Koodo prepaid number, you need to activate with a new number first and then ask the moderators afterwards to perform the number port.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Until it's known which city that the OP is tyring to port a number from, this could quite possiblity lead to a sitution in which the person has to take a phone number from a didfferent city and is unable to port the phone number in.&amp;nbsp; Not all phone numbers can be ported in. if the phone number is from a city that Telus Mobility/Public Mobile does not offer numbers for, a number from that same city cannot be ported in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/183350"&gt;@nettajg&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You stated that others in your community have Public Mobile service.&amp;nbsp; Which city is that and are they actually using phone numbers assigned for that city or numbers from a different city?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

We can't really be sure that's the issue though quite yet, but the possibility remains that the number might not be eligible to port to Public.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
