Solution to short codes (eg. 33333) is not working

I saw there are couple posts regarding this issue, so I post the possible solution here for you.

Public Mobile started to charge some short codes not all for $0.1 per message. If you have zero balance, then some short codes will not work for you.

I saw this post and verified myself.

Keep in mind that $0.1 means 10 cents per text sent considered a "premium shortcode"

Hopefully this isn't a sign of a permanent change not yet documented/announced at Public Mobile. Moderators have been alerted in this topic:

Thanks for sharing.

I recall encountering issues when attempting to log into my PayPal account, and waiting for the numeric code through text message...which never came.

Hope that the Moderator Team can look into and resolve this...
