      <description>&lt;P&gt;You would need to contact Freedom to intiat6 the port.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.freedommobile.ca/en-CA/contact-us" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.freedommobile.ca/en-CA/contact-us&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You would need to purchase a PM sim.&amp;nbsp; They can be ordered through PM, Canadian Cell Supplies, or you can purchase one from a retailer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can save some money if you get a referral code from an existing PM customer.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It is only initiated from the gaining carriers side (Public Mobile).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Key point though is that the losing carriers SIM must remain active in the phone to receive and respond to the verification text to confirm you wish to port your number away.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
