Hello,

I am changing my phone. my old sim card is the one with regular size and can't fit in to the slot. Hence I need to get a micro sim as early as possible.

Look at you SIM closely to determine whether there is any pre-cut marks which allows your to change your SIM card micro SIM. You need to buy a new SIM if your SIM card is not the type that you can switch between mini, micro and nano sizes.

To change to new SIM card, login to your self-serve account and use the "Change Sim Card" link n the overview page after login.

Most sims with Public mobile are 3 hole punch unless your sim card is very old.

Does you sim punch out to smaller sizes?

If not you have to purchase a new sim card. You can get them at Walmart or if a London drugs is in your area.

Do not activate the new sim. Log into your account and click "Change sim card".

Green arrow on picture below.

I checked my sim and it doesn't have the pre-cut marks to change in to micro or nano sim. could you please send me a new sim card with the same mobile no.

You will have to order a new one from Amazon, Public Mobile, Canadian Cell Supplies or look for a store using this (Walmart, London Drugs etc)

@UshaKudiyate just go to London drugs or superstore and purchase one. don't let them activate the card for you.

@UshaKudiyate Some mobile stores have special "machines" that can cut your standard size sim into micro or nano size, and it will continue working. I did that for one of my old sims from other provider.

@UshaKudiyate If your card is not a tri-punch card then just google sim template and you should be able to easily cut the card down to size.

Many stores have sim cutter, just walk into the first one, they'll probably have to locate it as it's not used too often

You can also cut it yourself with the exacto

I wouldn't bother to save $5 or $10. Stores might charge a small fee to do it for you or you'll have to buy a tool that will cost as much as sim. I would buy a new sim card.

@UshaKudiyate You just need to locate and print out the template and a pair of scissors. There are also numerous of YouTube videos showing how to do it. Very simple to do.
