I have 12 MB left on my 250 MB add-on, does it stop automatically after that? what happens if my data roaming stays on?

The roaming add-on in question has a 10 day duration. It will expire on time or usage. Since Public Mobile is a prepaid service, once the add-on is expired, that's it, usage stops unless a top up is made. Keeping the roaming function on is meaningless.

It just stops working. Even if you leave data roaming on there will be no charges. If you need more data, just purchase another add-on once data is all used, or after 10 days.
