Hello, I am looking to purchase a LG K31 phone from Best Buy In Canada it is a Telus phone but I do not want to assume that it would work. Could I possibly get an answer please the sale is done on January 4th so anytime before that would be appreciated . Attached below is the link for the phone.

If it is a Telus phone that it will work. PM uses Telus towers.

Oh it will work but perhaps consider the moto e, moto g play, power or plus....

I am very happy with my recent purchase of the moto g7+ for U$119 ($180 cdn all in). Their customer service is excellent. Also costco had the moto g fast for $149 and the moto g power for $239. Both London drugs and Best buy are offering the telus prepaid moto e for $119. Edit: Dec 26th to Jan 1st at LD the chatr prepaid moto E $99.99.

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS). band 12, band 5, band 2, band 1, band 4
HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS). B2, B5

No personal experience with either phone.

@Batman96 Go with the Moto E because of cleaner software. LG adds bloat to the software.

Last day of the sale at london drugs for the moto e phone and if youre a new customer the last day of their stackable deal of a free sim card and $10 airtime credit ( ask specifically for it they dont all know about it!)

Thank you for the suggestions, I need to purchase my phone from Best Buy because my last phone a Nokia 2.1 that I absolutely loved died on me and the geek squad warranty I had on it allowed me to recover the cost of the phone via Gift card which I want to apply to a phone. The reason I’m between the 2 phones is because they look the most reliable out of all the options on the Best Buy website. Also I like to have the Geek squad warranty so god forbid somthing happen to the phone I can receive a gift card for the full value like I did for my defective Nokia phone.

Thank you for telling me about the sale at London Drugs I do not have a London drugs location near me. I live In Ontario and the closest location is Manitoba.

The Telus moto E is out of stock even if I could price match it isn’t in stock to price match.

Totally agree with what @cellphoneuser1 said about bloatware. Ive had my moto g7play for almost a year and I like it.

An unlocked prepaid phone will work at all major providers in canada it doesnt really matter who puts their name on the box.

I checked London Drugs unless LD is another store and it seems the phones went back up to their regular prices unless I’m not looking In the right spot.

@Batman96 , it is a no brainer, go with the Moto E (2020). For $10 less, you get a much better phone (bigger screen, better CPU, bigger battery). Here is a side by side comparison.
