iPhone SE 2nd Gen Compatible Models

Hello all,

Happy holidays. I'm having a little trouble trying to figure out compatibility here with the iPhone's new SE second gen phone. I'm thinking about purchasing a refurbished phone but am unsure whether they will work. Are these models compatible with public mobile?

A1863 (CDMA + GSM), A1905 (GSM)

I looked up the SE on compatibility and did not see these models? Does that mean they are not compatible, or was that for the older SE?

Also, would a GSM unlocked work with Public Mobile? Thank you all in advance.

Those numbers are iPhone 8 models.

A1905 is specifically listed for Canadian network compatibility.

A1863 is specifically listed for USA network compatibility (Canada is not listed but I'm fairly confident this model would work fine in Canada).

iPhone SE2 is an odd beast. Externally it resembles the form factor and dimensions of an iPhone 8. But internally it's basically a modified iPhone 11. It is not an iPhone 8.

A2275 is specifically intended for USA and Canada.

iPhone SE2 (and iPhone 11) are newer than iPhone 8 and should cost more.

Be wary of ambiguous or scammy vendors. If they're reputable then they won't confuse the base release models and submodel numbers of the devices they're selling. They will know exactly which kinds of iPhones they're selling, exactly how to tell them apart, and exactly what they're worth.

this SE-2020 looks compatible.

Public Mobile uses the following frequency bands:

4G LTE and LTE Advanced: 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS).
HSPA: 850 MHz, 1900 MHz (UMTS).

Public Mobile (Telus)

3G = bands 5/2

4G = bands 5/2, 12/13/17/29, 4, 7, n66

iPhone models A1863, A1905, and A2275 all support every one of these bands, they're all fully radio-compatible.
