      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, there...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is the SIM already activated? Upon receipt of the SIM you have to get it activated online , and if you have any number from another provider you have to get it ported into PM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A notification that says, "emergency only" means the phone can not connect to a service provider. That is why you are prompted to enter or dismiss when you turn on your phone. If your SIM has already been activated by PM, one reason could be that you"re phone cannot read the SIM properly. Try inserting and reinserting the SIM carefully into the slot. Your sim slot may be loose for that matter and the simcard does not stay in contact with the connectors.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Contact the provider you originally got the phone from for the unlock code. If it's a Samsung phone you can go to Samsung Canada website and open a live chat with them for the code.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You're phone is locked.&amp;nbsp; call the carrier where the device came from and get the unlock code.&amp;nbsp; If it's an Iphone get the carrier to submit the unlock request to apple.&amp;nbsp; Afterwards just turn the iphone off and on.&amp;nbsp; Should work after that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
