slow to load or no load internet iPhone XR

Phone cannot load google maps, cannot access internet via DATA. I have been using PM for a few years. New problem. I have a lot of data available. Turned on and off airplane mode, turned on and off phone, cellular is toggled on, maps is on cellular, internet provider is on cellular, I reset the network settings, and someone beside me on PM has an older phone which is loading and working just fine.

I assume you mean "maps is on cellular" means is switched on ON below the cellular switch?Does Google Maps work on wifi?

Have you done the last iOS update? Is your cellular on LTE or 3G. What ever it is...try the other.

Yes, maps is switched on below cellular. Yes, maps works fine on wifi. I will try.

Turning off VPN didn't actually work. I had to DELETE VPN!

Hi @elenatfranklin you may try this solution by @Jb456 https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/The-Lounge/Google-Maps-Offline/m-p/521992/highlight/true#M5008

on Google maps you can download "offline maps" and still get the turn by turn talking instructions. It's the same thing except you won't get real time traffic updates since it's not on data.

Then go in Google map settings in the app and turn on wifi only. When that is set it will say "when not connected to wifi only offline maps will work"

Also while in settings go to "offline map settings"

Ensure download preferences is set to wifi only.
