Log into self service to confirm the add on is there. It is a 2 step process. You added the funds now go back in and make the purchase.

Does your plan include phone calls? A long distance add-on cannot be used if you are on a data-only price plan.

Exit codes do not need to be used. While 011 will usually work, + and then the country code will suffice.
