      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just joined and it was super easy. Assuming you've checked that your phone works on Public Mobile, it's not locked to your current provider, and you have a sim card already it's very quick.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Once you go through the first couple of steps activating your sim, you get to a page where you pick your number. Once you select port number then just enter in your current phone number, then it'll ask for some additional details about the account you have with your current provider. Continue through the rest of the set up and at the end you activate your account. I got an email right away from the old provider that I had cancelled my service. Put in the Public Mobile sim and it started working right away. The port can take more time, and there might be extra steps if you have any kind of port verification set up with your current provider, but it should be pretty straightforward. Good luck.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
