The phone number or just the name of yoru contact showing depends on the software of your phone when you have the number already saved in the contact list.

@cncach What was the question?

Your number (not name) will be displayed to people you call, if you want them to see your name then they need to add you in their contact list.

Public Mobile always inserts a 1. There isn't anything that you can do about it, nor will it cause any problems. In fact, the 1 before the number in the call history will actually make it easier to call people back if they're long distance from you.
