For disciplinary reasons, I need to turn off my child's data for a few days.

How can I do that?

Well you could adjust the APN settings on the phone but they may figure out how to reset them.

Or take the phone and use up all the data so they will have none till next renewal date?

@ken8 You can report the phone as losg or take phone away. There's no self serve option to turn data off.

@ken8 , this may be what you are looking for. This type of app is not something I have used or researched extensively. There might be better out there. This one is provided by Google. So there's the brand recognition.

As others mentioned there is no surefire way to do so, there are some network settings you could adjust, or you can just take the phone away for a certain time.
