READY mobile network

I was out for a drive in rural southern NB today. Usually my phone/car display shows Public Mobile as the network followed by network signal strength. Today I happened to notice that for a period I was registered on the READY network. Anyone know who they are? Just curious.

Ready Mobile is an US provider.

Since PM is a prepaid provider, don';t worry about the roaming charge.

Ready mobile appears to be a united states Carrier.

@popping That's odd as I was between Sussez and St. Martin, nowhere near the US border. At least 190 kms from the border! Why would my phone register on the network of a US carrier?

@popping Not the least bit concerned, just baffled that I connected to a network 190 kms away!

@kb_mv check to see if you have roaming enabled. Disable it. Stay safe.

If you are at a location without Telus/Bell tower, your phone will login to any network signal available.
