I believe that's a 2G phone, so probably not.

Alcatel makes some flip phones that will work with PM.

I did a quick google search. Hard to find the specs on this phone.

Is your phone the following:

If it is this above phone, then it will not work with Public mobile/Telus/Bell since it is a 2G phone only. PM does not support 2G.

From what everyone has said. NO it will not work with Public mobile. You will need to find another phone.

@Bastien if your looking for a flip phone it's got to support 3G bands B2 and B5. 2G phones will not work with Public.

You will be hard pressed to find any provider in Canada that supports 2G any longer. Do you only require a flip phone or just a reasonably priced phone?

It's not difficult to find a carrier that supports 2g. Rogers still has a 2g network, although probably not for much longer. I agree with you that it's not a good idea for someone in Canada to purchase such a phone.

As @computergeek541 has mentioned rogers has extended its support of 2G until December of 2020.
