iPhone 4 cdma model a1349 wouldn't work lol.

Additional to the previous replies...if you bought it used / private, make sure it's not been blacklisted or reported as stolen. There's been a few customers who got a "good deal" on kiji or craigslist...only to find the phones were bricked for that reason.
