I just tried to make a phone call and eventually I got "Public Mobile here you don't have a plan with calling ....", but I have the $25 plan with Canada Wide. Any suggestions what would do this and how to correct?

Try dialing 1 infront of the area code. Also reboot your phone.

Thanks - that worked! Do you know what might have caused this type of glitch...is it a phone thing or a PM thing?

Like the Man said..."it is what it is".

You might OCCASIONALLY experience this type of glitch with PM. I restart my cell phone once every so often and have reduced problems with calling to minimum.

It can't hurt, right.

Even if it was a long distance call (within Canada), the call still should have went through without the 1.
