Not optional.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/2018/2018-484.htm" target="_blank"&gt;https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/archive/2018/2018-484.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And most Canadian carriers do indeed proudly advertise their UNCB. Bell, Virgin, Lucky, Rogers, Fido, Chatr, Freedom. While Telus, Koodo, and Public conspicuously do not - I can't find any information about their UNCB (or lack thereof) anywhere in public domain.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

So now I don't understand why the CRTC even bothered to pass a regulatory mandate to "all Canadian carriers" which could technically be ignored by every one of them.
