PM does not store your SMS/MMS messages. If you remember who sent you the message, you can ask your friend to send it again.

There is no way of restoring deleted SMS/MMS. On android sms backup & restore is an excellent. It saves all messages and can support local and cloud backup. You can set up scheduled backups.

if you are using an iPhone you can restore from icloud or computer. You can also have all your messages saved if you have use imessage on your Mac computer (provided you use one).

on both iphone or android like what @gblackma said fastest is to ask them to send it to you.

you can use an SMS recovery app or wipe and restore your phone. good luck.

I don't think so as I wanted to use all his message to protect myself. I don't think my contact will send them to me

@computergeek541 of course not. This is another cookie-cutter response from the @CS_Agent , responding when not needed. Oh well, what can we do.
