Paypal verification not working

I tried adding my Public Mobile number as a number in Paypal and the verification code sent by Paypal never comes through.

I already checked to make sure SMS works by sending myself a text from another phone and it's working fine.

This is a brand new number from Public Mobile, not a ported one btw.

Any ideas what's going on?

Have you made sure your phone number is selected as a 'Mobile' rather than Home?

Also, try this.

You can enable a new mobile PayPal Security Key online by following these steps:

Log in to your PayPal account.
Click Profile at the top of the page.
Select the My settings tab and to the right of “Security key” click Get started.
Below Order or activate a security key click Get security key and follow the steps.

If it all fails, try installing the paypal app on your phone and verify thru there, that should work.

It still does not work for me...I cannot change paypal bank since public mobile seems to reject it's text. How can I resolve that?

@nethierI would recommend use 2FA authentication that doesn't rely on your cell phone because of the danger of SIM jacking. Use an authentication app like Google Authenticator or Authy instead.
