      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am new to Public Market. I am wanting to make an account and get my old phone number transferred from Virgin Mobile. When I enter my number into the "Check if your phone number is eligible" it says it is unable to transfer. Any ideas on how to still keep my old number?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If so, the phone number may not be available any longer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are porting a phone number from a previous provider, make sure to keep that account open. Type " Port Request " and follow the prompts to get to one. Give them the name on the account,&amp;nbsp; number to port and the Virgin account number.&amp;nbsp; Please note that your Virgin account must be active to port your number.&amp;nbsp; The port will close it once its completed.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;There are 2 ways to&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN class="sc-bZQynM fxhVtJ"&gt;contact the Moderator Team:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN class="sc-bZQynM fxhVtJ"&gt;Faster response- Get help with your account the easy way by starting a conversation with our virtual assistant, SIMon. It’ll take you to relevant help articles, or if it’s something more urgent, it can help you submit a ticket to the Moderator Team.
