LIkely, your voicemail retrieval number is not programmed properly. Sometimes, solving this issue is as simple as restarting the phone, as this can force the network to send commands to the sim card sending the correct phone number to dial based on your region.

It may not be programmed into your phone.

Look through your phone settings for "speed dial" and add your voicemail number. You could use in most cases (area code) -580-4001 or look at link below for your voicemail number in your area.

If you can't find your speed dial in your phone settings. Try doing a google search with your phone model. Example. "Samsung S9 speed dial" and add it to number 1.

In any event you could always Dial your cell number to access your voicemail.
