Probably a stupid question. Can your voicemail be accessed with a third party mobile phone in the same way as using a landline?

@xaugh yes it can you can call your number and once the recording is finished press the * key and enter your pin

From *any* other phone you can either dial your own number and press 1 once it gets to your voicemail announcement, or to skip ringing your own phone you can dial any of the local numbers across Canada on this list:
