Upgrade to iPhone 11 Pro Max from iPhone 7 Plus

How do I transfer information from iPhone 7 Plus to iPhone 11 Pro Max?

Do I need to buy a new chip from PM or do I just move the one from the iPhone 7Plus? What do I do first?

If you are already a PM customer just insert the SIM from your iphone7 into the Iphone 11. Make sure the 11 is unlocked.

Once the SIM is in restart the phone and the network should pair. And your on your way.

Take sim out of old phone put it in new one. Then transfer your stuff from the cloud.🙂

@lolaww724 You just move the sim from the old phone to the new one. Public Mobile SIMs are tri-punch so if the sim is too large just punch out to the smaller size.

You don't need to do anything related to Public Mobile. Just transfer the SIM and you should be good to go.

@lolaww724 first backup all your info on the iPhone 7

Open Settings on your old iPhone
Tap the Apple ID banner.
Tap iCloud>Tap iCloud Backup>Tap Back Up Now.
Turn your old iPhone off once the backup is finished.
Remove the SIM card from your old iPhone and install it in the new iPhone

make sure your old iPhone is turned off

Turn on your new iPhone
Slide up.
Follow the directions to choose your language and set up your Wi-Fi network.
Tap Restore from iCloud backup.
Sign in to your iCloud account (This is your Apple ID).
Tap Next>Tap Agree>Tap Agree again.
Choose the backup you just made
