    <description>Thanks for the reminder. I did read about this prior to initiating my first inquiry, however, i am still new to this so wasn't sure how to differentiate a user from a PM employee.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you've JUST ported, I would wait maybe 24 hours before sending the mods a message. It can take some time for incoming calls/texts to work.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Am also finding that I can make calls and send texts, however cannot receive.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ported a week ago from Bell.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When people call me they receive a message "6UC1&amp;nbsp;&lt;A&gt;The number you have reached is not in service"&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a support email in - hopefully it's something they can fix on the back end.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes, I transferred the number on Nov. 21st but that didn't complete until 23rd. It worked perfectly fine for a few days but just noticed on Monday no incoming calls or texts but I was able to make outgoing calls and text. My number is 647-939-0796. Phone is Samsung Note 2.</description>

&lt;P&gt;The issue occurred because the number you tried porting in is not active with your old service provider. In this case, you can either:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;1 - change your phone number&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;2- contact your old service provider and have them reactivate your services for porting purposes.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
