Just activated my new sim card and account and the page recommended I set up my data.

Even without setting anything up I can automatically connect to data and it has the same APN name (sp.mb.com) but just some other information is different like the MMS proxy (mmsproxy.mobility.ca).

Is it really necessary to set up data like the website suggests or is it fine as long as I can connect? Is it possible that the automatic network I connected to is just more up to date?

@lin14 The settings you have are the correct ones no need to make any changes.

@lin14 Some phones can automatically detect and setup data settings. Therefore, if your data works fine, just leave it like that and don't change anything.
