I just set up my Public Mobile account. I purchased the $25 plan, so I do have some data; however, I want to set it up such that any iMessages sent/received while in wifi DO NOT use data. I'm assuming that is doable, without having to turn of cellular data.

Thanks for your help.

Also enable sms and mms to send and receive from Android phones. And turn off wifi assist, set all of your apps to download only on wifi. Welcome to PM.Stay safe.

Check out this older thread https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/Receiving-text-messages-only-when-connected-to-wi-fi/td-p/289963
