You have access to all of the data for the 90 day period so you could technically use it all up in the first month. Once you hit the limit, your data will stop working. You would need to buy an add-on for more data.

If if you want to call out of province you'll need to buy one of the long distance options. These do not expire. You can pay $8 once and if you don't use up the minutes it carries forward until you use it all up.

I'm curious, and haven't been able to find the answer!

If I have 6GB over 3 months, is it breaking it down in to 2gb/month or can you use the data as you wish for the next 90 days?

Once you hit your data cap, what happens? On Telus, you get charged overage if you don't bump it up. I always received a text when I hit 90% on Telus so I knew to bump up. With PM, does the data just turn off, or does it keep accumulating?

Also, I have purchased provincial wide calling. If I need to call out of province, I assume that I would purchase the $8 long distance add on?

Thanks!

Once you hit the cap that's it. You will no longer be able to use data.

You are also right about long distance. As this is a prepaid service if you don't have the add-on you won't have the feature.

I believe once you max your data for your plan then thats it - you get no more data. You are not able to exceed past your plans data limit.

This topic is being discussed here :http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Public-Lab/Throttle-instead-of-cut-off-data-after-limit/idi-p/35866

Yes, if needing to call out of province you need to add the Add-ons - however if you don't use up all of your LD minutes it can be rolled over

In all honesty, I would purchase the Canada Wide Calling as it makes travelling and calling friends or loved ones in other provinces worry free. And usually it only costs a few dollars extra a month. I would look into it if I was you.
