Signing up for new account, are 778 or 604 numbers available for request?

@hiener for the older codes. It's a crapshoot. There aren't any numbers saved for new signups.

Here's 3 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward if you need them:

When entering your debit/ credit card information:
1. Enter the credit card address exactly as it appears on your statement ( capitalize all if necessary ).
2. Leave the apartment field blank, if applicable enter your apt in the street address field ie xxx - street address.
3. Enter your postal code without spaces ( if there is a space on the credit card statement then enter the first 5 digits only with the space).

@hiener, when you sign up you, have to put your area in. You can continue to refresh the number until you get to a 604 number. If it's not working for you, you can request from the moderators one of thise numbers if it is possible.

@hiener During the activation process you will be able to select province and city, and then will be presented phone number options, and can see before committing.

Not sure what area youre after in BC, but a quick look via my own selfserve account offered me area code 236 for Vancouver , New West , and Victoria. 778's in Aldergrove and Chilliwack. 672's in Abbotsford.

When signing up you also have the ability to search for certain digit patterns which I cant do in the change number option afterwards.

@hiener Yes, but depends on province. I live in BC, and if I want to change my number though self-service, I have these options available. You can check yourself as well.

For a 778 number. Join VoIP.ms. Get a couple of 778 numbers. Then port one.

Here are some examples for Vancouver. Look at other cities in lower mainland too or wherever you live.
