If you switched your SIM card from within your self service account using the switch SIM option there, then your old SIM is essentially a piece of junk. Stay safe. @JuliaFranz765

Hi,

I recently had troubles with my data. So after going through a long strand of held desks with Public, they asked me to use the other SIM card I had available for them. It finally worked out. So now I have one SIM card, that is not active but it was at one time.....is this now unusable? Or can I give it to someone? My friend is saying that the SIM card is invalid.

My friend is now saying that Public is able to reset the sim card, that it shouldn't expire. I haven't used that old SIM in 2 weeks. She is getting the response from Public that it should take a few days to reset? is this true?

Thanks

The moderators cannot re-initialize a used SIM. In this situation you describe, your first SIM was activated, then replaced with your 2nd SIM. SIMs that fail in service are unlikely to be refunded; but no harm in asking.

Whatever happens with your refund, be sure your friend registers for the flash sale asap: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/flash-sale-05052020. And give them your referral code.
