I want to upgrade my plan to the $25 plan and there is a new promotion to receive a month free and would like a promotion code to receive this as I will lose my remaining $5 a month promotion for switching

This is only for new people to Public. The only thing you can do to get this is to stop using your old number sign up with a new email and have a new number. If you are ok with that, have at it. Just know any loyalty will not carry over to the new account.

Not only would you lose that $5 you would also lose that phone number and any rewards you have associated with that account because you would need to open a new account and phone numbers can't be transferred between Public Mobile Accounts

@ii But if you think the deal is better than just changing your plan you could abandon your current plan and numerous, and open a brand new account.

Salvaging your current phone number would require porting out to another carrier then porting into the new account.
