@Islandgirl56 You're welcome. I'm not sure if an app like this exists for your iPhone, but with my Android phone I use an app called "Phone Signal" which can plot a chart of how strong the signal is. It's very helpful in troubleshooting as you don't have to rely on guesswork or the signal meter on your phone. It can help identify "dead zones" where the signal is poor, and it can also tell you how many cell towers my phone sees. If you have an app like that available, it'd be interesting to see what your results are.

Hi,

I have poor cell reception at my house. I currently have an iphone5s. Does anyone know if getting a newer iphone would help with the reception? or is there a phone that gets better reception? Thanks!

Most cases should NOT interfere, but some can and it may be worth eliminating that as a possible source of your poor reception.

For what it's worth, I'm able to make calls in my basement with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (in a TPU case) without any drops or voice degradation.

Good luck!
