You can have quote button in some browsers (I believe I heard/read Firefox) you need desktop view. Good luck on the phone, since that update I have never seen it: (

The quotation mark will quote whatever is in the post you are replying to.

Click the REPLY box, then the 3 dots under PREVIEW...then notice the "quotation marks" on the left. Click those quotation marks to add the original text you want to address.

Yes that's the new quote button. I have to turn my tablet sideways to get the three dots to expand the tool bar. Btw the triangle with the (!) in it is the spoiler button. Use that when you want to:

Hide the answer or contain a long article so as to not use a lot of space in the thread.

I didn't understand what you were asking from reading your post and I was only asking for clarification. The title only asks how to post, so that's what confused me.
