Alan has suggested porting upon activation has greatly improved and only suggests using the temporary number option when porting numbers from koodo prepaid, landlines and voip providers.

Yes you can. You will require 2 separate accounts with PM (no joint accts offered) and you will also need to have 2 unique email addresses to create the PM accounts.

When you port the 1st number over, the other Telus account (number) will remain active at Telus. When you port the 2nd number over from Telus, that is when the Telus account will automatically be close.

PM has been known to fudge activation even though a port-in succeeds. Or, phone turns out to be locked.
This means no phone service at all until account/phone is repaired. NS_smiles is struggling with this situation now.

I wrote "be prepared" a long time ago and still recommend it, in spite of the improvements PM has made.
