Public mobile doesn't offer phones or contracts. You just purchase a $10 sim card either online or in store (sometimes they are free if you activate in store.) Choose a plan and activate your sim card. You can pick a new phone number or port in your number from your current provider.

Bring your own phone or consider buying one from amazon (the Umidigi A3, A5 pro and F2 are popular and very good value $100 - $250). You can also look at refurbished phones take a look at this site:

You have to provide your own phone. Are you looking for an Android or iPhone ? You can buy them online from sites like Amazon.ca and AliExpress depending on what you are looking for.

@marylou1976 At the moment (and probably near future) PM is bring-your-device provider. So, have to have your own phone already to buy SIM and start using PM services.

All phones sold privately are...BUYER BEWARE....there has been too many posts on the community about someone's phone suddenly not working with the message " Not registered on network". Its almost always a private sale that gets blacklisted a month later and the OP is out hundreds of dollars. It is not recommended to buy off online classifieds.
