Getting alot of random 705 calls

Past few days receiving random 705 numbers. They leave no messages. Anyone explain why?

If all the calls are coming from the same area code, perhaps someone left your number in a public area for others to see.

You can block the calls on your phone until these calls subside.

Or you could answer some of the calls to ask why they are calling.

@WilliamNguyen The only explanation would be that your number got added to a spam calling list. Have you recently called back a number that was on your missed call list?

No one picks up it keeps ringing.

They call you. You pick up and you hear it still ringing?

Best to ignore these calls. You can block all calls from 705 or from anyone not already on your contact list.

They are not always from the same number. Im getting the same thing every day from a variety of 809 numbers. Plus Ive spent 30 years in Telecom engineering there is a problem somewhere in the network. Or a robot calling system thats messed up. It would be nice to be able to raise a ticket to tech support that could look at the logs and see what is happening.

@RandyFitton hi yea it can be annoying sometimes,if you are not to attached to your number you can change it in your self serve account
