@Sher65 the phone doesnt appear to be compatible with PM's LTE network. It's missing the 1700 hundred band. See here https://apn-canada.gishan.net/en/apn/public-mobile/samsung-galaxy-a70

If you have the phone, it will work but you will be unable to access data if in a LTE only data area. Make sure its unlocked and don't forget to add a referral code to get a $10 one time credit if its for a new account.

Here's 3 articles on activation and porting if required:

1. What you require to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/what-you-need-to-activate

2.How to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/activation-account-set-up

3.How to port https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/choose-your-phone-number

Stay safe.

AWS is the name given to that frequency range. It's a meaningless acronym: Advanced Wireless Services.

There's 2 main ranges for Canada today. AWS-1 is 45 MHz, and AWS-3 is another 25 MHz on the upper side.

https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/sf09303.html

https://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/sf10957.htm

AWS-1 can be deployed as B4 or B66. AWS-3 can only be deployed as B66. In most markets Bell/Telus have 15 MHz of AWS-1 and 10 MHz of AWS-3.
