I'm in an area with a weak signal. It varies from 1 bar 4G to 2-3 bars 3G. I can make calls and text but when it drops from 4G to 3G I lose data connectivity for some reason. I know that the PM data is at 3G speeds, but I think 4G connection is required?

My question is, will a signal booster help me? And if anyone has experience with signal boosters please let me know what works for you.

Is there an option on your phone to enable it to switch automatically Between the 2 options? Or one to choose either 4g or 3g? You can also try your SIM in another phone to see if the signal quality improves.
