I just got a text from public mobile saying that my payment was due on the 1st but when I sign it it isn't due until the 7th which is the right date based on my activation date. Which one is the one that they are going to go with? Should I submit a ticket to make sure that they don't cut these 30 days short?

The 7th is the correct renewal date.

Dial 611 from your device and it should report the correct renewal date.
