Invalid sim on signup

Hi I am trying to sign up a friend and when i enter the simcard number (19 digits) it states invalid sim.

any thoughts?

Perhaps you should ask a mod to see if they can send you a new SIM, or maybe this is something they can fix without a SIM swap.

Make sure you put the SIM card number correctly first. If still not working, moderators can help you. @Mary_M

figured out the problem and feel like an idiot.

I took a closer look at the sim card and it turned out to be an old sim placed in the PM tripple punch card. The sim actually belonged to another provider. I was coping the number off the card, not the sim, I just assumed it was the spair PM card i had ordered earlier to keep on hand in case i needed to refer a friend.
